Welcome to our Saturday special. This week we are focusing on leisurewear, because as we all know, our lives are becoming much more casual. That doesn’t mean we want to give up on style, so we thought we would share with you some of our favourite weekend outfits that combine comfort, warmth and elegance.
We begin with some beautiful pieces from Kinross Cashmere and &Isla. Kinross is a wonderful brand with its roots in Scotland, and their cashmere feels truly exceptional. One of our highlights is a jumper with a subtle pop of colour at the back. It pairs perfectly with matching cashmere joggers – they have a fixed waistband for comfort but still look refined. Another standout piece is an oversized long jumper, which drapes beautifully and feels incredible to wear. Together, these pieces create a weekend outfit that is both relaxed and polished. To add a little extra layering, we suggest topping the look with a gilet. It is lighter and less cumbersome than a coat, while still giving warmth and a unique finish to the outfit.
For a slightly different take, we also have a sleeveless cashmere gilet from &Isla x Kinross. It has a zip front, a hood, and works perfectly with a polo neck underneath. It is warm, versatile, and ideal for layering during colder days while keeping the look modern.
If you prefer to make more of a statement, we also have leisurewear featuring this season’s key trend – animal print. You may have seen how popular it is in the magazines, and we love how it works in a velour jogger and top set. With the addition of a polo neck trimmed in animal print and a down-filled gilet with a hood, it becomes a striking yet easy-to-wear outfit that is both practical and stylish.
For something softer, we suggest our wide-leg trousers, which offer a refreshing change from jeans. They have a tie waist, side pockets, and a smart pinstripe down the leg. Many of you may have seen Kate, our model, wearing them on Instagram. She described them as feeling like silk against her skin, and they look just as wonderful as they feel. Paired with trainers, such as the new chunky-heeled style we have from Marc Cain, they create a chic and comfortable weekend outfit.
Altogether, these looks show how leisurewear can be reimagined to be stylish, comfortable, and perfect for the weekend. They are versatile pieces that you can wear for relaxing at home, running errands, or meeting friends, while still feeling confident and fashionable.
Finally, just a note on the blouse being worn in this video – it is by Herson’s in a soft blue silk with elegant cuff detailing and a flattering V-neck. It is another example of how everyday pieces can feel special and luxurious.
