Today, we’re sharing something we’re really excited about: the rise of the modern trouser suit. With all of our lives becoming a little more casual, these updated suits offer the perfect blend of comfort, style, and versatility.
Trouser suits are everywhere this season, featuring in all the fashion magazines, and we’re thrilled to showcase some of the best options from our designers, including Paul Smith, Marc Cain, and Luisa Cerano. These suits are not only fashionable but practical too: wear the jackets and trousers together or separately to get the most out of each piece.

We begin with a standout from Paul Smith: a beautiful cream suit with a subtle pinstripe. The wide-leg trousers are ultra-flattering and comfortable, with an elasticated back. The matching jacket has twin vents and a refined silhouette that makes it ideal for work or weekends.
Next, we show you another stunning option from Paul Smith in a soft rose pink. This one features a longer-length jacket and matching wide-leg trousers. The fabric is beautifully fluid and easy to wear, whether dressed up or down.
We also love the soft olive green suit, again by Paul Smith. This one has more of a coat-style jacket with standout button details and Paul Smith’s signature trims. The trousers are wide-leg and flowy, and we’ve personally tried them, they feel amazing on and look fantastic.
For events like Wimbledon, Marc Cain offers a refined off-white suit with a beige underlay, perfect for summer outings. Another Marc Cain piece features a touch of sparkle in a soft stone, olive, and grey blend. It’s an elegant option for both day and evening wear.
If you prefer something bold, one of our favourite looks is a vibrant electric blue suit from Marc Cain. It’s a linen mix, lightweight, and incredibly cool for the warmer months. Pair it with a crisp white shirt for a simple yet striking outfit.
For business meetings or more formal days, we recommend Paul Smith’s navy trouser suit. It’s a timeless piece with sharp tailoring and a wide-leg cut that’s both professional and modern.
